Basketball
There are two opposing basketball nets located close to the Craft House and FFA Pavilion. Have a quick pickup game during your next outdoor event.
Campfires
Small groups will appreciate the intimacy of the Assembly Hall campfire while large groups can comfortably fit around the Council Circle. The Covered Bridge campfire is newly renovated and is ideal for medium sized groups.
Covered Bridge
The historic Staats Mill Covered Bridge is the ideal spot for the perfect photo op or a stunning backdrop to an outdoor wedding. Or take a stroll through this bridge and appreciate the unique architecture design.
Disc Golf
Our disc golf course is a well maintained 24-hole course with DISCatcher Pro Targets and dual tees for 2 difficulty levels.
Fields
Choose from 4 fields that can be used for sports activities, such as soccer, or band camps, weddings, and outdoor events.
GaGa Ball
Gaga ball, also known as Octo-ball, is a popular variation of dodgeball that is played in a contained area called a gaga pit. The game is suitable for players of all ages and skill levels, making it a great choice for schools and camps.
Heritage House
Take a walk through history and see how the earlier settlers of Jackson County lived. This historic log house was donated to Cedar Lakes and is open at certain times of the year for tours.
Horseshoes
Close to the Shelter located near Mill Creek, the horseshoes consist of two stakes on each side 40 feet apart. Horseshoes may be signed out for use from our office.
Lakes & Fishing
Bring a line and try your hand at catching a big one in one of our four lakes. Free to the public, these catch and release lakes contain largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, catfish, blue gill, and grass carp. *Fishing license required, per state laws.
Mini Golf
Eighteen rounds of fun for the whole family. Our mini golf course stays open year-round and can be rented at a group rate.
Playground
A short distance to the covered bridge and shelters, the playground features slides, swings, obstacle course and xylophones. Rubber mats provide additional safety for young ones and seasonal restrooms are located close by.
Shelters & FFA Pavilion
Three 40′ x 24′ shelters are available for rental March – December. Our FFA Pavilion features a 50′ x 120′ area with electric, fans, tables and chairs, perfect for large group events.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is open from May to August and is available to both our guests and the public. The pool is also available to rent for private pool parties for $125/hour.
Volleyball
Two volleyball nets are located close to the Craft House and are open to the public year-round. Volleyballs may be signed out for use from our office.
Walking & Hiking Trails
From an easy stroll around the lake to our challenging 2.9 mile Bear Claw Trail. We have 3 walking trails around the lakes from 0.5 – 1.5 miles and 3 hiking trails from 0.8 to 2.9 miles. Trail Maps
